James Noble Hatch was a civil engineer who worked in Chicago, Michigan and California, and perhaps elsewhere. Among his projects
was the design of the power sub-stations for Henry Huntington's Pacific Electric Railway System. He was also a poet, publishing
Mirthful Musings in 1925.
